I just found out today some very sad news. I was sent a email from Live Action please pray for our country more than ever. I don't normally write things like this on my blog, but I am so sad about this as I'm sure many of Americans are.
Here is the message I got sent to me today-
Today the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the Patient Protection and
Affordable Care Act along with the bureaucratic mandate that promises
to fine or even jail employers, insurers and private citizens who act
on pro-life principles in the health care arena.
?Obamacare? ? an unconstitutional and unwarranted intrusion of
government into civil liberty, religious liberty, and the private
sector - jeopardizes the very existence of many businesses, charitable
organizations, religious communities, Catholic schools and hospitals.
The insurance mandate seeks to coerce individuals into financing and
facilitating procedures and drugs that violate their consciences and
take innocent human lives.
Live Action President Lila Rose expressed the determination of many to
continue to oppose the unjust legislation and never to comply with it,
even to the point of civil disobedience if necessary.
?Today?s Supreme Court ruling strikes at the heart of both Life and
Liberty. Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry expect to make a
killing off of Obamacare?s unconstitutional, socialized medicine
scheme. We will not comply with this mandate.?
She continued, ?Today, the Supreme Court has upheld nothing more than a
Ponzi scheme to expand the abortion business. If this legislation is
not overturned by the next administration, Obamacare?s socialist-style
diktats will be used, not to provide better or more affordable health
care, but to expand Planned Parenthood?s abortion empire across the
backs of American taxpayers and people of conscience ? and at the
expense of our religious freedoms.
?In light of today?s ruling, Americans will greet Independence Day with
prayer, sacrifice, and renewed energy to continue our opposition to
this mandate. We must also recommit ourselves to restoring full
constitutional protections of Life and Liberty to the most vulnerable
in our society: unborn children.?

Well since my last post something has happened in my life, a great blessing has been placed in our home.
I mentioned in another post that I had Compatible with complete placenta previa something that I have been very scared about for the past 50 days.
We had an ultrasound done this past Thursday and got some great news. My Midwife called to tell me I no longer have Placenta Previa and my Placenta is 4 cm / 2inches away my from cervix now. This means I am clear of everything I was told I could not do, and I can now have a normal delivery. I have one last Ultrasound in a month before the baby is born and we could not be happier.
So our summer plans have not changed much but they do include a little more running around now that I am feeling better.
We have had a great summer so far, I hope you and your family have as well. It has been very hot so we are trying to find things to do outside that we can all handle as a family:)
Here is what the rest of our plans look like for summer (at least the next couple of weeks), things could change if mommy has a baby sooner than we think:) We do hope he stays put until at least the end of August but only God knows that.
June 18th - June 30th
Continue with Summer Bingo, Our bored activity cards (which has been great) Ticket to summer, and our library activities.
Finish up some school work that we have not finished.
I plan on making Sacred heart tie-dyed t-shirts, we have never tie-dyed anything before and I thought these were cute.
My hubby is working on a simple scavenger hunt for the kids, with maybe a camp out in the back yard. My kids really want to camp out in the backyard, will have to see how many end up in the house before the sun comes up. We have never camped out as a family, we are more of a hotel room service family, at least we were. With 10 of us staying over night anywhere can cost a lot more since we have to stay in Condos/Houses at resorts. The Double Queen room just won't work anymore.
If the heat lets up a little my wonderful hubby will be taking a bike trip with the girls, our trails are so pretty where we live.
Bowling a lot since my family loves to bowl; our bowling lanes are offering 2 free games of bowling per day all summer!!
I will be continuing My Proverbs 31 bible study which has been fantastic. I would encourage you to check out Women Living Well Ministries and see what you think.
I hope to finish up my End- of -the year interviews with my girls; I am so behind on these.
Otherwise with all the summer games we really are keeping busy throughout the day. We are still trying to keep activities simple and almost free:) It really is unreal how many things you can do as a family without breaking the bank. Here are few pictures I took; these things were all free to do!!
The girls loved playing in the water and washing their bikes.
We thought them they need to take care of everything we have including items that sit in the garage.
Daddy practicing with his Bow
The girls were asked to go outside and write a little about what they see in the backyard.
What things can they find around the trees, and what do the animals do during the day.
Just a few pictures of the Parade, it happened to rain 30 minutes before the parade started.
It stopped raining just in time:)
Our littlest girl loves animals; at the fair in our town she was able to pet some little goats.
She was so happy
Did I say we love books, well in my home books are everywhere and I love it, even CJ who’s only 21 months enjoys looking at the books. We have been doing a lot of reading as a family and on our own time.
July 1st - July 31st summer plans coming soon....
Keep Enjoying your summer!!

We have a few new plans this summer that will be a little different from the past. Since I will be in my third trimester and we are still waiting for my Placenta Previa to clear up. Things will be a little more relaxed and slower which I'm looking forward to. Will spend more time as a family around our home in our sweet little town, and will be avoiding long trips in the car and of course saving money at the same time.
Last summer we spent a lot of time at the pool which lead to many things I would have liked to avoid. Since the pool was the place to be last year, Two of my kids got sick from drinking pool water, and I most likely added some extra wrinkles from too much sun, no thanks skin cancer I would like to avoid. With 7 children to watch at all times in the water it is not very relaxing and more of a chore so we plan on skipping most of the pool this year.
We have chosen to school are kids year round and not break for a long summer of non learning. It will be more relaxed of course with plenty of fun summer activities just different. The girls love the idea and so do mom and dad.
Here are the plans that my hubby and I have come up with for our summer months.
Read lots and lots of Books, fun reading for our kids with many prizes to keep them going. We will make a weekly trip to the library one evening each week where the girls can pick out what ever books they would like to read. This really is an exciting thing for our girls and it is always great to see them just dive into books and learn. Our library has a great summer reading program with all kinds of prizes at the end of each week if you read your weekly goal.
The first week we got family water park passes which with a family of 9 saved us about $270.00. We have 28 passes since we have 7 girls in the reading program and each girl received 4 passes, so we will most likely go more than once:)
Other weeks it is baseball tickets, Museum tickets and lots of free food coupons for around the area. Our family looks forward to this each year, what a blessed town we have.
Something a little extra were adding which I wish I had started years ago is earning a penny for each page you read in a book this summer, we may even continue this into the fall. This will add up quick since most of my girls love to read but I love to see them again enjoying books and not so much the Wii and T.V.
You are allowed 100 books at a time to be checked out at our library so each week I will allow 5-8 books per child to be checked out. One rule 4-5 books may be for fun reading but 2 books must be a fiction book, something that they can learn from.
I have come up with a Theme for each week of summer as well which will include something fun as a family. Were not just going to read all summer long, we have to much available to do in our town to pass things up.
June 2-June 9th-Gear up for summer week, this week we will be going over our plans and bringing out our summer fun gear, as a surprise we will be buying a pool for the backyard not a big one that's next year but a pool that the kids can splash in. We will be marking down which parks we will be going to as well since we have so many parks in our town they said they would like to go to them all at least once. We also will be starting summer bingo, and the Ticket to summer plans. We have a busy week ahead but loads of family time and planning.
Summer Bingo and Ticket to summer were great ideas I found over at Jessica's blog. I hope to have all our cards done this weekend and I will share what we have come up with next week.
Also new this year was a great idea I found over at The Happy Housewife, something called I'm bored activity cards. These were made for the summer but I think these could be use year round. I would just change some of the activities to fit the season of the year. 85 cards with fun activites and 15 blank cards for you to fill out. Next time your child says that they are bored they can just pick a card out of the jar and do that activity for the next 30 min.
June 11-16th we will go over Dairy since June is national dairy month. We also have a weeklong Butter fest in our town which is always fu.
June 9th we will be going to a Dairy breakfast on a farm
June 11-17 we will enjoy all the events in our town, tractor pulls, art and craft fairs with toy shows and farmer markets, beauty pageants, lots of food, dancing and the best parade I have ever been to.
We will be making a Wisconsin Cheese Garden Lasagna, Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese Curds with Roasted Tomato Coulis, Wisconsin's Favorite Mac & Cheese, Summer Fruit Dip, Corn Cakes with Wisconsin Queso Fresco Salsa, Iced Chocolate Chai Latte, Pork Tenderloin with Blue Cheese Mushroom Sauce, Sweet and Crunchy Cream Cheese Spread, and a Rhubarb Cheese Pie. Visit
Of course this will be throughout the entire week not all in one day that would be crazy.
June 18th - 24 coming soon....
