Our Lord Has Risen

Have a very Blessed Easter

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:16-21

Good Friday

Do you really know what Jesus did for you.

Today our family will remember the crucifixion of our Lord.
We thank the Lord for what he has done for us.
The Lord has brought new life because of the cross.
Holy week, a time to remember why we as Christians have a chance to enter Heaven.
We thank our Lord and Father in heaven, and weep today for what Jesus had to do for all of us.
No one has a greater love for us than the one Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jesus gave his life to save all of us from sin and death.

At 3pm today we will be praying and remembering you Lord. We have not forgotten what you have done for us.

As a family today we will be having our Good Friday tea, and reading Mark chapter 15.
A tea that we found to be a great blessing.
you can find more info on Good Friday Tea over at Cottage Blessings or Shower of Roses

"And he brought a linen shroud, and taking Him down, wrapped him in the linen shroud, and laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock; and he rolled a stone against the door of the tomb."

Pamela

Where's My Pencil Mom

I love to hear the words" mom where's my pencil." You would think since we home school and our supplies stay in our home we would not have this problem. We seem to lose pencils at a fast rate around our home.
So each day before we put away are books we make sure we have everything ready for the next day.
If we don't get everything ready I know I will hear the same words all over again. "mom where's my pencil."

These are the little things I will miss when you girls are grown. Now it seems crazy but it is for a season and I would not trade this for anything.

Love,
Mom

A new Duggar Book

I am so excited about the new Duggar book. You can Pre-order your copy here. I bought The Duggars 20 and Counting! And it was such a great book. I recommend the first book to all moms and dads because it is such a blessing to families. I cannot wait till the new book is out we love the Duggars!

From the publishers

In this second book from the Duggars, they focus on the principles that equip them to face life's challenges—drawing from their most recent challenge with the 3-month premature birth of their newest child, Josie. They also share the new challenges their older children are facing as they prepare for adult life. Central to the book is a section on the principles that the Duggars have consistently taught their children. These simply worded principles are basic to the Duggar family and are shared in a way that other parents can incorporate in their own homes. A special chapter on homeschooling gives valuable information to parents who are considering this route or are already invested in it. The world continues to be amazed by their nineteen well-groomed, well-behaved, well-schooled children and their home life, which focuses on family, financial responsibility, fun—and must importantly, faith. The Duggars show how parents can succeed whether they’re rearing a single child or several.
