Days to remember in January

January has always been a very busy month in our home. Since joining the Catholic Church we have added more days of celebrations and remembering. So here are some days that you may want to remember in the Month of January. Oh we also have 4 birthdays this month so we will be extra busy celebrating. January 1st is New Years day.
January 1st, the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God
January 1st, a day of prayer for World Peace
January 3rd, Most Holy name of Jesus
January 4th, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
January 6th, Epiphany of the Lord
January 9th, Grandma Gootee's Birthday
January 10th, my husband will be 33 today! Also The Baptism of the Lord will be on this Sunday according to the new Calendar.
January 11th, Juliana's 4th Birthday this is our 4th daughter
January 13th, The Baptism of the Lord we will celebrate it on this day.
January 16th, Madelyn’s 1st birthday she is our 6th daughter
January 17th, St. Anthony, Abbot
January 20th Saint Fabian pope and martyr; and Saint Sebastian, martyr
January 21st, Our Lady of Altagracia: and Saint Agnes
January 22nd Saint Vincent, deacon and martyr
January 24th, St. Francis de Sales
January 25th, Conversion of St. Paul
January 28th, St. Thomas Aquinas
January 31st, St. John Bosco
So yes January will be a very busy month but that’s okay we love busy in our home.
