Family Bible Study...

Day 13 and 14
Remember to ask the Lord to guide you in your study.

Day 13
Does God see every little thing I do, and don't do?
Can God see my thoughts?
The answer to this is yes!
Scary to think that the Lord can see not only all your actions, but he can also see your thoughts.
Let’s look at some verses, what does the Bible say.

But they do not realize that I remember all their evil deeds. Their sins engulf them; they are always before me. ~ Hosea 7:2

For I know how many are your offenses and how great our sins. You oppress the righteous and take bribes, and you deprive the poor of justice in the courts. ~ Amos 5:12

Day 14
What does the Holy Spirit do for us?
If you want to have courage and strength to do great things in his name, you must depend on his Spirit.
The Holy Spirit can give people the power to do wonderful things in this world.
Learn to follow, listen and read the word, then you will find him. You will find peace, and happiness knowing there is a Father in heaven, that loves you very much.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid ~ John 14:26-27

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. IN this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." ~ John 16:33

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. ~ Acts 1:8

I love these next verses; I get chills thinking about how powerful my God is.
This is when the Holy Spirit comes at Pentecost.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. ~ Acts 2:1-4

Please keep reading all the way through Verse 13. I encourage you to have your Bible with you at your study. Here again is the Bible that we are using; it has been so helpful in our study. This Bible will help you find the right verses for, which topic you are studying. I am getting my questions from here as well. The questions really are just a starting point to work off of. Overall they did a really good job putting this Bible together for kids.

I love the Treasure study Bible. Well, my kids love it, too. The only catch was I had to look all over the world to find them in KJV. And then they were pricey for a kids Bible. But it was well worth every penny. My boys still do they morning, noon and night reading from OT, NT, Psalms and Proverbs but now they also love to dig in and see where the treasure map will take them... and I have found that the other kids end up dropping what they are doing and joining in, too.

I did not know that they made this Treasure Study Bible in a KJV. I would love to find it. We prefer KJV over NIV. I just bought this as a gift for my daughter at Christmas, so we have just started learning all it has to offer.
For years we have had our girls doing their own level of bible study. Now we all work as a family, which I love so much. My oldest is almost 12 so she will just read it sometimes on her own, when she has personal time. My 9 yr old is the one who was given the Bible this year; I will find her in a corner with blankets just reading through everything.
